The current company, Dowdell & Associates Ltd (DAL) was formed in September 1995 after W. Grayson & Associates Ltd was taken over by Amdel, an Australian based company. The area of Occupational Health was not considered part of Amdel’s core business and as such offered it to Quenton Dowdell, one of Grayson’s former directors.
Several other staff members, one of which still works for the company (Rob Nicholson), also came over to the new company at the same time. Thus the new company, DAL, started with a significant client base and experienced staff well known in the industry.
The company has since moved to consulting in virtually all areas of Occupational Hygiene inclusive of Indoor Air Quality and also moved into the area of Methamphetamine testing.
Through its own long term established knowledge base and it’s many professional contacts, the company can call on a wide range of specialist knowledge and analytical equipment in dealing with Environmental and Occupational Hygiene requirements
